We (Mei and Rune) are so happy to be finally reunited after a very long while
Time to celebrate!
When we got off the train we met super cool artist Sonia! We really loved her style and enjoyed talking with her. It's really fun to meet others with cool clothes and discuss fashion with them. Be sure to check out her art blog

We were really craving Japanese cuisine that night, so we hopped on the train to Kenka, an awesome Izakaya-styled restaurant in East Village/St. Marks area. Normally it is super busy and has a line out the door for a table, so we went when it was not so crowded
Selcas while we wait for the deliciousness!
Let's eat!
Delicious Unagi (eel) over rice (Mei's favorite)
Chewy and tasty takoyaki balls
One of our favorites
This okonomiyaki was delicious and we gobbled it up so quick! The bonito flakes are the best part.
BIG BIG bowl of beef oyakodon (Rune's favorite)
So stuffed!
Walked around a bit and went into a nice asian grocery nearby
On our way back home a kind photographer really loved our outfits and took our photo! What an eventful outing
Thanks for reading!
